A bright ruby color with aromas of cassis, plum, and Castelvetrano olive. Flavors of strawberry, raspberry, tobacco-leaf with mouth-watering vibrant acidity and a well-balanced medium+ body.
Fermented separately with 1/2 foot-stomped whole cluster berries and 1/2 lightly crushed berries. Fermenting the wine in cooler temperatures and then blending the two lots highlights the complexity in the wine and showcases the intense fruit flavors.
Aging: 18 months in 13% new French oak, & 87% neutral oak barrels
