Tasting notes
Open the bottle and seductive aromas of blackberry and cherry sail out, straight to the heart. Cherry, mocha, cedar and plum, balanced with juicy black fruits and firm tannins. Finishes with a hint of clove and rich blackberry.
Production notes
350 cases were made. Hand Harvested grapes, carefully sorted and De-stemmed with no crushing, and gravity fed into 4 and 1/2 ton fermenters. Our standard fermentation lasts 30 days, after which the free run wine is separated from the press fraction. Ageing occurs in 228 liter French, American and Eastern European barrels for 18 months.
